Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The Seven Deadly Sins by William S. Burroughs was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in December 2017. The result of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,079.52) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William S. Burroughs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dezember 1955 in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
