Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of Lord Methuen'S Spaniels, Gipsy And Fairy by William Barraud for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,735.52). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by William Barraud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sir Edmund Antrobus And The Old Surrey Fox Hounds At The Foot Of Addington Hills in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 63,794.89).

Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of Lord Methuen'S Spaniels, Gipsy And Fairy von William Barraud für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.735,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
