The work Myrtle and Cricket by William Barraud was sold in the Sporting & Wildlife Art Including an Important Private Collection of Works by Archibald Thorburn and Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe auction at Christies in London in November 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,481.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Barraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sir Edmund Antrobus And The Old Surrey Fox Hounds At The Foot Of Addington Hills in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 63,794.89).
