Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Barraud could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The European Art Sale Part II auction, the work Chestnut Hunter and Groom changed hands for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,371.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Barraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sir Edmund Antrobus And The Old Surrey Fox Hounds At The Foot Of Addington Hills in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 63,794.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von William Barraud konnte im Januar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
