Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elis with jockey up by William Barraud was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,215.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Barraud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sir Edmund Antrobus And The Old Surrey Fox Hounds At The Foot Of Addington Hills in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 63,794.89).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.215,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
