In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work 'Utitled (Subway Drawing)' by William Anastasi. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,218.21), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Anastasi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 186,023.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Utitled (Subway Drawing)' von William Anastasi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.218,21) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Anastasi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 186.023,32).
