Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Subway Drawing) by William Anastasi was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Anastasi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 186,023.32).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Subway Drawing) von William Anastasi kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Anastasi erzielen.
