This work without title by William Anastasi was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 9,450.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Anastasi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 186,023.32).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von William Anastasi kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.450,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Anastasi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 186.023,32).
