It achieved a price of EUR 19,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem de Klerk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A winterlandscape with peasants on a frozen waterway, with farmhouses and a windmill beyond, which sold at auction in April 2001 for NLG 99,875.00 (€ 45,840.76).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 19.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %.
