In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work Outskirts Of The Farm, Old Holland changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,089.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Willem de Klerk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winterlandscape with peasants on a frozen waterway, with farmhouses and a windmill beyond in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 99,875.00 (€ 45,840.76).
