This artwork by Willem de Famars Testas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2010. In the European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings auction, the work A wanderer and her dog on the heath sold for EUR 937.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem de Famars Testas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch the Well And Sycamore In Ezbekieh Square, Cairo in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,864.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem de Famars Testas erzielte im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings wurde die Arbeit A wanderer and her dog on the heath für EUR 937,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem de Famars Testas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch the Well And Sycamore In Ezbekieh Square, Cairo im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.864,41).
