The work Spiritual Mountains by Wesley Tongson was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,306.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Wesley Tongson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Green Mountains was auctioned for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,627.85).
