Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spiritual Mountains by Wesley Tongson was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. The price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,584.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 28,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wesley Tongson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Mountains in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,627.85).

Die Arbeit Spiritual Mountains von Wesley Tongson kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.584,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wesley Tongson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Mountains im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 23.627,85).
