Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Mount Huang 3 by Wesley Tongson. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,656.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Wesley Tongson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Green Mountains was auctioned for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,627.85).

Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mount Huang 3 von Wesley Tongson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.656,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wesley Tongson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Green Mountains für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 23.627,85) versteigert.
