Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Wang Yan Cheng was sold in the NOW! auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 88,200.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yan Cheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Yan Cheng wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion NOW! bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 88.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yan Cheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
