Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work To Hurt by Wang Xingwei was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 4,280,000.00 (€ 500,018.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Other works by Wang Xingwei have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 9,400,000.00 (€ 967,757.38) in October 2014 for the work Blind.

Die Arbeit To Hurt von Wang Xingwei wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert.
