The work Midas by Wang Xingwei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 4,248,000.00 (€ 490,990.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Other works by Wang Xingwei have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 9,400,000.00 (€ 967,757.38) in October 2014 for the work Blind.

Die Arbeit Midas von Wang Xingwei kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 4.248.000,00 (€ 490.990,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Xingwei haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.400.000,00 (€ 967.757,38) im Oktober 2014 für die Arbeit Blind beobachtet.
