Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Ying Bi: Ping Feng – Screen: Screen by Wang Jianwei for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,945.48). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jianwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blind in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 254,279.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ying Bi: Ping Feng – Screen: Screen von Wang Jianwei für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.945,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jianwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blind im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 254.279,30).
