The work Symptom by Wang Jianwei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,873.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jianwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blind in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 254,279.30).

Die Arbeit Symptom von Wang Jianwei kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.873,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jianwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blind im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 254.279,30).
