Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,729.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Matteo Corcos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alla fontana (Le due colombe) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 590,280.76).
