It changed hands for a price of USD 687,500.00 (€ 590,280.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Alla fontana (Le due colombe) is the most expensive artwork by Vittorio Matteo Corcos that we have observed at auctions so far.
