A top price for Victor Pivovarov - as previously expected
The work Triptych with a Snake by Victor Pivovarov was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2008. The price achieved of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 185,141.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Triptych with a Snake is the most expensive artwork by Victor Pivovarov that we have observed at auctions so far.
