Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Works On Paper by Victor Pivovarov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,684.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pivovarov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych with a Snake in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 185,141.64).

Die Arbeit Three Works On Paper von Victor Pivovarov kam im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.684,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pivovarov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych with a Snake im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 185.141,64).
