Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bracketed Perfomative by Victor Burgin was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Burgin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zoo 78 in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 73,134.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bracketed Perfomative von Victor Burgin kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Burgin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zoo 78 im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 73.134,12).
