In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work Object Relations by Victor Burgin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,831.81), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Burgin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zoo 78 in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 73,134.12).

Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Object Relations von Victor Burgin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.831,81) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Burgin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zoo 78 im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 73.134,12).
