A top price for Joseph de Vigier - as previously expected
The work Trees In A Park, C. 1850 by Joseph de Vigier was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,452.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Trees In A Park, C. 1850 is the most expensive artwork by Joseph de Vigier that we have observed at auctions so far.
