Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The 1930S: A Triptych, Circa 1960S by Vasily Shukhaev was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. The price achieved of USD 230,500.00 (€ 171,337.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vasily Shukhaev have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).

Die Arbeit The 1930S: A Triptych, Circa 1960S von Vasily Shukhaev kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 230.500,00 (€ 171.337,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
