Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Russian Landscape by Vasily Shukhaev. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 418,000.00 (€ 472,411.24), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasily Shukhaev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian Landscape von Vasily Shukhaev zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 418.000,00 (€ 472.411,24) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93) versteigert wurde.
