Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Nikolai Okunev by Vasily Shukhaev was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,095.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Shukhaev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Nikolai Okunev von Vasily Shukhaev kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.095,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
