This artwork by Vasily Shukhaev achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work The River Dordogne sold for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,775.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Shukhaev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vasily Shukhaev erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit The River Dordogne für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.775,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
