Sold at the lower estimate price
The work In The Auvergne by Vasily Shukhaev was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,405.95) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Shukhaev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit In The Auvergne von Vasily Shukhaev wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.405,95) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
