Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vasily Shukhaev could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work In The Auvergne changed hands for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 82,522.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Shukhaev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vasily Shukhaev konnte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit In The Auvergne für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 82.522,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
