Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Varda Caivano for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,627.50). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Varda Caivano have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2015 by the work Two works: (i) Untitled, 2005 (ii) Untitled at USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,583.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Varda Caivano für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.627,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Varda Caivano wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2015 die Arbeit Two works: (i) Untitled, 2005 (ii) Untitled mit USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.583,59).
