Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2014 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work High-rise on Raushskaya Embankment by Valery Koshlyakov. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,537.11), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valery Koshlyakov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Versailles, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 72,500.00 (€ 91,077.98).
