The work Versailles by Valery Koshlyakov was sold in the Russian Contemporary Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 72,500.00 (€ 91,077.98), 45% above the upper estimate. With this result, Versailles is even the most expensive work of art by Valery Koshlyakov that we have observed at auctions so far.
