The »bidding war« ended at GBP 630.00 (€ 733.02), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Utagawa Sadahide achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yokohama koeki seiyojin kamotsu unso no zu (A view of Western traders transporting merchandise at Yokohama) in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 18,144.55).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 630,00 (€ 733,02) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Sadahide erzielen.
