The work Unknown by Utagawa Sadahide was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2005. It achieved a price of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,262.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Utagawa Sadahide have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yokohama koeki seiyojin kamotsu unso no zu (A view of Western traders transporting merchandise at Yokohama) in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 18,144.55).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Utagawa Sadahide kam im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.262,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Utagawa Sadahide auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yokohama koeki seiyojin kamotsu unso no zu (A view of Western traders transporting merchandise at Yokohama) im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.925,00 (€ 18.144,55).
