Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Great military drill (Uchoren no zu) by Utagawa Sadahide was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,121.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Utagawa Sadahide achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yokohama koeki seiyojin kamotsu unso no zu (A view of Western traders transporting merchandise at Yokohama) in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 18,144.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Great military drill (Uchoren no zu) von Utagawa Sadahide kam im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.121,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Sadahide erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yokohama koeki seiyojin kamotsu unso no zu (A view of Western traders transporting merchandise at Yokohama) im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.925,00 (€ 18.144,55).
