Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Udomsak Krisanamis could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Romeo & Juliet changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,024.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Udomsak Krisanamis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wind Cries Mary in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,493.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Udomsak Krisanamis konnte im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Romeo & Juliet für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.024,36) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Udomsak Krisanamis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Wind Cries Mary im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.493,35).
