Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work For Rl by Trudy Benson for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,122.98). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trudy Benson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Giant, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).

Für andere Arbeiten von Trudy Benson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Giant beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46) versteigert wurde.
