Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circling Back by Trudy Benson was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,260.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Trudy Benson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Giant in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Circling Back von Trudy Benson kam im Dezember 2021 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.260,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Trudy Benson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Giant im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46).
