Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circling Back by Trudy Benson was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,260.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Trudy Benson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Giant in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
