Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work White Light by Trudy Benson for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,228.40). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Trudy Benson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Giant in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit White Light von Trudy Benson für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.228,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Trudy Benson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Giant im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46).
