Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shifted Fill 2 by Trudy Benson was sold in the Unbound: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,645.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trudy Benson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Giant, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shifted Fill 2 von Trudy Benson wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Unbound: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.645,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Trudy Benson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Giant beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46) versteigert wurde.
