In the Impressionist & Modern Art | New York auction, the work Untitled: A Double-Sided Work sold for USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,120.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toyen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tu t'évapores dans un buisson de cris in October this year with an auction result of EUR 2,823,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Toyen erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | New York wurde die Arbeit Untitled: A Double-Sided Work für USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.120,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toyen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tu t'évapores dans un buisson de cris im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.823.000,00.
