The work Sans titre by Toyen was sold in the La Révolution Surréaliste auction at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of EUR 4,462.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toyen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tu t'évapores dans un buisson de cris in October this year with an auction result of EUR 2,823,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Toyen wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion La Révolution Surréaliste bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.462,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toyen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tu t'évapores dans un buisson de cris im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.823.000,00.
