Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tomoya Tsukamoto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Red Yellow Blue (Forest) sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,368.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomoya Tsukamoto erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Red Yellow Blue (Forest) für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.368,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96).
