Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tomoya Tsukamoto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Jungle of Colour 2 sold for HKD 1,240,000.00 (€ 145,497.54) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tomoya Tsukamoto; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Memory of the Forest - Tiger sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomoya Tsukamoto erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Jungle of Colour 2 für HKD 1.240.000,00 (€ 145.497,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tomoya Tsukamoto; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96).
