The work DOTS GIRL IN THE UNIVERSE by Tomoya Tsukamoto was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 812,500.00 (€ 92,776.57), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomoya Tsukamoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Memory of the Forest - Tiger, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 212,669.96).

Die Arbeit DOTS GIRL IN THE UNIVERSE von Tomoya Tsukamoto wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 92.776,57) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomoya Tsukamoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Memory of the Forest - Tiger beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 212.669,96) versteigert wurde.
