Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Tango Delta Oscar Seven by Tomory Dodge. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 26,453.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomory Dodge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cotton Mouth, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tango Delta Oscar Seven von Tomory Dodge zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 26.453,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomory Dodge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cotton Mouth beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 82.718,85) versteigert wurde.
