A top price for Tom Roberts - as previously expected
The work Australian shearing Shed, Newstead by Tom Roberts was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2008. The auction ended at the price of AUD 300,000.00 (€ 175,124.41), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of AUD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Australian shearing Shed, Newstead is the most expensive artwork by Tom Roberts that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Australian shearing Shed, Newstead von Tom Roberts wurde im August 2008 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert.
